About Poolhurst Aviation

Poolhurst Aviation is a privately owned and operated company based at Archerfield Airport located on Brisbane’s south side. By basing ourselves at Archerfield Airport, we can avoid the delays associated with operating out of Brisbane’s main domestic airport. While we are based at Archerfield we operate all over Australia and can relocate our aircraft as needed to meet customer needs.

We are the holders of Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Air Operators certificate No. CASA.TAAOC.0578-6 which authorises us to conduct Air Charter Operations within Australia.

Boarding

Boarding is available direct through our own private departure lounge or through Archerfield Airport’s main Terminal. Pick up and departure is also available out of Brisbane Airport’s “Corporate Terminals” situated on the eastern side of the Brisbane Airport. We also offer clients secure undercover car parking.

Our Flight Crew

Neil Waterman

Chief Pilot

With Poolhurst Aviation, your safety and comfort is our number one priority. Our experienced flight crew is managed by our Chief Pilot, Neil Waterman who over two decades of flying experience, more than half of which has been on the Pilatus PC-12 (predecessor to the PC-24) and Pilatus PC-24.

Neil has flown the PC-24 to many destinations. As part of the initial delivery flight flew the PC-24 from Switzerland to Adelaide via a number of different international airports.

Neil is also a CASA approved Check and Training Pilot and holds Grade 1 Flight Instructor Rating having previously been a Senior Grade 1 Flight Instructor for a Registered Training Provider.

Martin Quinell

Pilot

Martin has been flying for 27 years and currently has over 16 000 hrs of flying experience.

Martin began his career learning to fly in Brisbane. He has significant experience in general aviation operating both piston and jet aircraft.

His jet experience included domestic and international aeromedical, charter and United Nations mission work.

Prior to joining Poolhurst Aviation Martin spent 15 years in international airline operations.
